Laurent Perbos

Born in 1971 in Bordeaux, and living in Marseille. Heir to the art of assemblage, he reuses objects produced by sport and its practices (tennis ball, ping-pong table, balls, bicycle…) and imposes on them a new finality of treatment in the shape and material. Laurent Perbos leads the viewer into an imaginary world where objects come to life thanks to the counter-use he inflicts on them: “Beyond the formal aspects, I try to make poetic artworks”.
